Abstract

This study is to systematically analyze the effect of various kinds of parameters on the performance of a fin-tube type adsorption chiller. In this study, the two dimensional numerical mo del is used and to get the optimum condition of adsorption chiller, orthogonal array L27(313) of nine parameters with three levels is adopted. This method gives quantitative estimation of the various pa rameters affecting the performance of adsorption chiller. Based on the result obtained in the range of parameters considered, it turns out that the fin thickness and fin pitch are the most dominant factors for the case of object function of COP.
