• SAR data processing, application of SAR interferometry, and high-resolution SAR and InSAR application in urban area and geohazard monitoring

Major Research Achievements

• Volcano and subsidence monitoring based on InSAR technology published on Nature and Science.
• Development of a novel InSAR system based on Drone system
• Measurements and predictions of subsidence induced by soil consolidation using persistent scatterer InSAR and a hyperbolic model.
• Measurement of the water level in reservoirs from high-resolution SAR interferometry and amplitude images
• Development of ship detection algorithm and operational system using KOMPSAT-5 SAR image
